Course Content:

Understanding the duties and responsibilities of the “responsible person” and “monitoring personnel” and their deputies for the supervision, effective implementation and control of risks and any remedial work carried out on their premises in connection with cooling towers and evaporative condensers.

Who Will Benefit:

Any person who is either partly or wholly responsible for on-site cooling towers and evaporative condensers.

Purpose:

To provide candidates with the knowledge of current legal, medical and technical requirements required to operate water cooling towers so as to minimise the risk to health

The course is aimed at managers, responsible and nominated responsible persons, supervisory staff, any person interested in extending their knowledge of Legionnaires' Disease and those looking for an in-house tailored training course to fit particular needs.

All delegates will be expected to complete a WHT assessment. This will confirm the understanding of the work completed during the day, linked to certification at the end of the course and will be accredited to Personal Development Units.
